I am most likely going to end up cancelling my sub to TOR. Not because I dont like it. Mainly for a couple of reasons.
1) My wife will not be able to play it initially.
2) I have had a lack of things to do after hitting 50
The second part may be partially solved. Our guild started out like gangbusters, but several of the members have been focusing on the Republic side. Bleh.
When my wife returns, we will see how she like the game. That will really decide which game we play.
I enjoy the game, but I have been very unmotivated to even play my alts. I just feels like a chore.
That, and the Galactic markets sucks ass.

Ding Level 50
Well, my Bounty Hunter is level 50. I finished it off by heading to Corellia and finishing a couple of quests as well as one of the Heroic quests. I then headed back up to the fleet and ran a couple of Warzones to hit the cap. Now what? I am max level and have all of my professions maxed out. I am not incredibly interested in dealing with the Galactic Market until there is actually a market. It seems to me that most things just do not sell.
I have tried to sell all kinds of gear with no success. At least you get your deposit back if it does not sell.
I played on my Sith Warrior a little bit as well and got him to level 13. I will be glad when he gets sprint. Running is just so damn slow.
I will probably have to wait for more people to hit cap to do much in the way of flashpoints.

Now I know I was meant to be Sith
No, no because of the dark side choices I make (yes, I do make those quite often). It is because I focus my rage and hatred at the game from time to time.
The latest example of a giant piece of space crap was the last stage of the Bounty Hunter quest line. The fight before you finish the quest chain, you have to fight two strongs at the same time. No big deal right? Well, it normally wouldnt be, but they heal. Let me say that again. They both heal themselves and each other. WHAT THE FUCK!!!!
I literally died about 7 times before I used my imperial fleet pass in a rage.
Another bug was that these yellow mobs that are not supposed to aggro would suddenly aggro on my companion from across the map....lovely.
So, I went online and looked for what other people were saying. There were a lot of people who said that the only way they beat it as a Powertech was to gear up Gault and burn one down.
Ok, wonderful. So, I go on the Galactic Market and buy two orange pieces and pick up some mods for Gaults gun to upgrade it.
I go back and take it down in two tries. It would have been one, but the same bug that aggroed the yellow mobs also pulled the guys I needed to take down.
My anger was at an all time high. They seriously need to tune that for future players going through. I have a friend how will be getting there before too long and he is a healer....I am interested to see how that goes.
Then, because I am not 50 yet, I had to figure out where to go next. I decided to give Ilum a try. It would have been OK, but for some reason, my framerate became unbearable. I ended up running at under 1 FPS while I was trying to complete quests. Needless to say, I did not complete them.
I decided to leave and just do some PvP....which is also incredibly choppy for me. I so badly need a new graphics card because I am missing out on a lot of game.
Once I hit 50, I am not sure what I will do. Maybe I will do some Flashpoints. I dont know. My frustration with the game is higher at the moment than my love for it. It may eventually push me back to WoW.
I love the story, but once you hit cap, what then?
I guess we will have to see.

Hello There!
Well, I played Star Wars over the Holliday....a lot.
I now have my Bounty Hunter up to 49 and on the verge of finishing my class quest.
Most importantly, they fixed my loading issues. Woohoo. I can actually move between planets now.
I must say that I have really enjoyed the Bounty Hunter storyline. On the other hand, I both like and dislike the quests. Everything seems so spread out, and when I come back from completing a pile of quests and see new ones available to the same area, I find myslef getting annoyed.
I also took several breaks from playing SWTOR to recharge the batteries. Sometimes I would play a bit of WoW, but other times I would log into MW2 multiplayer and frag some noobs.
I maxed out my affection on Mako and am now working on Skadge. I basically got him from about 200 affection to 5000 affection just on Correlia. He really likes when you act like a dick head, and that is one of my specialties. I just do everything with Mako out and then pull Skadge out to complete the quests. Free affection!
On a credit making note, I have noticed that the things that actually sell are the mods for your gear and weapons. Most people are going to try and pick up some orange gear, which means that much of the other stuff is going to be completely useless.
Another thing....I noticed that my training at level 49 was much cheaper than previous levels. It went from 40k plus per skill to about 13k per skill. I dont know why that happened, but I was quite happy about it.
I am sitting at around 500k credits, which would be a decent amount in WoW, but is chump change in TOR. You get around 5-8k for a quest as well as several thousand just for vendoring gray junk. At least it is easy to pay for your lowbies.

Holliday Weekend equals lots of TOR
I finally got to log onto my Bounty Hunter and play!
I still have to restart the game every now and then, but the load screen issue is now almost non existent. What was the solution to this problem you ask?
I just had to turn off Steam. Apparently, that was what was causing my issues. I wish I had known that sooner. Damn it.
Anyways, on to my Bounty Hunter tales and exploits. I finished Tatooine and moved on to Alderaan. When I first arrived I was like "Oh cool, something that looks different." I must say that Alderaan is a beautiful zone. I must also say that there are some very frustrating quests and areas here. I do not like running around for over and hour on one quest trying to figure out where the hell I need to go.
Once I completed my class quest, I decided to get the hell off of that rock. I ended up at Tanis for my next area. So far so good.
The class story absolutely rock, and is perhaps my favorite part of the game. It really makes you feel badass.
On a side note, the Galactic Market sucks. I can not see anything unless it is horribly underpriced. At least I am keeping up on my professions I guess.

Loading Screens, Horrible Customer Service, and Sith Warriors
So, I am still having horrendous loading screen issues. When I initially logged onto my Bounty Hunter, everything was good. Awesome. I went did several quests and finished my Bounty Hunter story line on the planet.
As I went back to the spaceport to turn in the final part of my class quest, I saw another quest giver. Cool, I will go check it out. I go up to her, click.....and disconnected from the server. Shit. Try to log on....no go. I tried for about 30 minutes before I just gave up. One thing I have noticed is that when I log off and try to log back on, it will show that my Bounty Hunter is still logged on if I try to go onto another character.
After that fun little issue, I decided to create my Sith Warrior. I went with a Sith, since that seems like the purest of Force Wielders. I actually got an awesome Sith name, and cant wait to get the Darth title. Darth Destructus......I like the sound of that.
Anyways, I plan on playing this guy full on darkside, which opens up my bounty hunter to make some more moral decisions. I would like to play him more as a mercenary than as an evil badass. My Sith Warrior can pick up that role, and already has. I think I got him to level 7 last night before I decided to log off.
Now onto customer service. The customer service from Bioware/EA has been horrendous. Seriously. There are tons and tons of threads with game breaking bugs....and very few responses. Tickets get you a generic response. People are reporting staying on the phone for 2 plus hours to talk with a CSR only to be hung up on. This is not good for them. This is an important time for a new game, and not doing everything you can to fix issues is a big no-no.
So far, the loading issue has one thread that is over 30 pages long and several others that have been posted. The only response from someone on the Dev team was to put your computer diagnostics in the thread. A little bit more information would be very helpful. Have they found the issue? Is it a priority? Seriously. They should invest a little more in helpful people.
Well, that is my rant for the day.
Everyone have happy Hollidays, and may the credits flow your way.

Got my speeder....Loading issues still not resolved.
I breifly thought I may have found a bit of a fix for my loading issues last night. I set the game up to run as an administrator and sucessfully loaded the game on about 2 of every three tries....by the end of the night that was no longer the case.
There is a thread on the Customer Service forums that is over thirty pages long at this point with people experiencing the same issues. Nobody from EA/Bioware has really responded. Hopefully it got fixed in the maintenance last night.
In other news, I got my speeder. It makes getting around quite a lot better, especially on Tatooine which is pretty big.
I also hit level 26 last night and am well on my way into questing through the area....and killing Jawas.
I teamed up with a random Imperial Agent last night to do some quests, and it went very well. We even helped each other out on part of our class quest chains. Overall, I like Tatooine.....but why do most of the planets have to be so damn ugly. Pretty much every planet I have been to with the exception of Dromund Kaas has seemed like and ugly ass wasteland.
Looking forward to hopefully being able to log in tonight. Once that loading screen issue is fixed, I will be very happy as I will be able to do Flashpoints.
